how do i change the running light on my 2000 kia sportage? i have no idea how the back comes off and i dont want to break it

Check the inside of the trunk and look for the interior trim panel that hides the back of the light. From there maybe you can see how to do it. The socket that holds the light may need a 1/4 turn to remove it from the assembly.
