recently my left rear tail light has been confusing me. when i turn on my headlights my rear tail light (the stop light) doesnt work when i step on the brake the right one works fine but the left one goes off. this only happens when i turn on my headlights not when they are off. i already changed the bulbs but nothing changed. can anyone help?

There's probably a short in your wiring. Take it to a Lexus or Toyota dealership to get it fixed.

Depending on the year you may have to get the bulb from the dealership for each separate socket, its unlikely the wires are switched but it wont hurt to look for disconnected or grounded wires at all light connection. Good Luck and GOD Bless
The left stop light socket loses ground.
Open your trunk and check the wiring that runs by the trunk lid hinges. It's common for some of the wires to get pinched or cut at the hinges and cause all kinds of wierd problems.
You will just have to repair the wiring and make sure and secure it so it won't get pinched by the hinge again.
