The passenger side brake light on my 1997 International truck stays illuminated even when I'm not pressing the brake (with the lights on). When I turn the lights off and press the brake it doesn't illuminate. Nor does the turn signal work back there but does up front. I changed the bulb but that didn't help. Any suggestions?
Tail light is not working correctly?
First check and make sur that the right bulb is installed in light I beleive it needs to be a 1157 bulb. If correct bulb is in place check light socket and make sure that the is no junk stuck in the white grease tha is usually in socket. If this still is a problem syart tracing the wires back to the cluster. If you need a wire diagram most Libaries that are big have a reference book that you can make copies of. And last but not least if all else falls you can go on the web to KTSA radio 550 in SAn Antonio on Sat/ Sun and ask a guy name steve gerline who has a show everyweekend and is supper good with answering questions like this
