2004 Jeep liberty tail light problem.?

The driver side tail lights are completely out, after changing the bulbs and checking the fuses the lights are still not working. Now the top brake light isn't working as well. (The passenger side lights are fine as well as the headlights) What could be the problem? Can I fix it? What's an estimate to get it repaired at the dealership?

Wow tough one. Do you have a trailer hitch set up and after market wiring? If so then the only other thing is a bad connection at that harness in which all the wires are usually marked on the harness so check each carefully. Also pull the light(three ten mm bolts) and turn lights on and wiggle wires at the bulb themsleves while someone is at the helm hitting the brakes and look at the bulbs during that check. I would also check the bulbs and fuses one more time because they're isnt much else. One more thing to do is call a friend or a Chrylser garage or employ the internet for a tailightwiring diagram and see what is all on the system and chase each electrical connection down. Any more questions dont hesitate to ask ill be glad to help.
