Take the connector out of your %26quot;T%26quot; Connector for your tail lights on both sides. Check to see that you have running lights (Voltage) and turn signals (Voltage that changes up/down) and use the truck as ground or a know good ground. Some people think that the white wire is ground and in fact it is for backup lights. If your voltages are present like they should be then connect the T connector to it and check the output to the trailer and see if they work and before you connect the tail lights back into the connector check the contacts for voltage like you did when you had the %26quot;T%26quot; connector out. IF you have the voltages then it should work unless you have open bulbs or your wires are cut someplace, or worse yet the wires are grounded some place that they shouldn't be... Basically disconnect everything check the main input to the connector, check the connector, and check the output of the connector. If you ar running LED's then switch wires on the hot and ground sides. LED's only work in one direction, where a bulb will work forward or reversed wired.
