i have a 4 door honda civic we bought the part but of course it didnt come with any instructions!!!! so if you have any clue on what i need to do to change the light cover please help!!!! my car needs to get washed and i cant do it until i change that piece! please

You may want to buy a Honda Civic Service manual from your local auto parts store; it makes a good investment.
But typically, you should find several nuts holding your tail light from the inside of your trunk. Use a ratchet wrench and the right sized socket to remove the tail light. Disconnect the wire harness and remove your old tail light. Attach the new tail light and bolt it securely then reconnect the wire harness; make sure you have the right tail light bulb inside.
