Can you change the back tail lights to a car?

I have a mitsubishi galant (1994) and I think the back lights are really ugly.

Is there any way I can take the entire back light strip off and put on two separate ones on each side?

Yea just use a search engine and find somewhere that sells alternate tail lights for a mitsubishi galant. You can find really cool ones on slickcar.com. Installation might be a little difficult if you do not know what you are doing.
