I have a ford fiesta (P reg, quite old!) and last year one of my headlights went, I took it to a garage and it was easily fixed, so I think I could manage to change a rear tail light.

remove plastic cover
expose 4 ten mmm nuts....undo them
after you remove the bulb unit that is held in place by 4 clips|||easy...open boot,remove bulb holders,remove 4 10mm nuts and swap...sorted...
ill make a mechanic out of you yet....
